To use CityPal, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Provide accurate, truthful, and current information.

2. Account Registration

Registration can be completed via secure third-party providers (Google, Apple, Facebook). To ensure community safety, we require additional verification steps including phone number and National Identification Number (NIN).

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use CityPal responsibly. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Providing false identity or location information.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other community members.
• Spreading false security alerts or misinformation.
• Using the platform for any illegal activities.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension.

4. Community Content

Users are solely responsible for the content they generate, including alerts, announcements, and listings. CityPal reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

5. Safety Disclaimer

CityPal facilitates community awareness but does not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated alerts. We are not liable for actions taken based on shared information.

Always exercise personal judgment and verify critical information.

6. Account Termination

CityPal reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies. In cases of serious violations, access may be revoked without prior notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

The CityPal service is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to inaccurate location data or user disputes.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
